ichthyologist: Snipefish (Notopogon schoteli) ...

Hello! My name is Collin. I'm a student at the University of Washington, studying ecology, conservation, and evolutionary biology (minoring in marine biology). I like marine invertebrates, skeletons of all shapes and sizes, macroalgae, 20th century classical music, and carnivorous plants.

The long mouth of the snipefish assists it in eating invertebrates hiding in rock cracks.
