Hello! My name is Collin. I'm a student at the University of Washington, studying ecology, conservation, and evolutionary biology (minoring in marine biology). I like marine invertebrates, skeletons of all shapes and sizes, macroalgae, 20th century classical music, and carnivorous plants.

At the end of high school, my biology teacher gave me a cobra lily, which has been slowly shriveling ever since I moved away to college. That’s pretty much the extent of my carnivorous plant husbandry.

I don’t think I’m quite as empathetic as you when it comes to this kind of thing, but it definitely fills me with a kind of awful hopelessness towards humanity. Alas.
